Shipping policy
Domestic Shipping
All orders are sent from New York City, where we design and create all of our garments. We offer complimentary shipping on all orders. The orders are sent via UPS or FedEx with a tracking number. You will receive an email on the day of the dispatch with the tracking number corresponding to your order. To track your order, please follow the link in your confirmation email. Please allow between 1-3 business days for your order to ship once purchased.
Returns
All Preorder AND Made to Order Pieces are eligible for store-credit or exchange only.
Trunk Show purchases are eligible for store-credit or exchange only, as they were tried on in person and therefore confirmed for size and fit.
For Ready to Ship Product:
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. Returns are accepted for ready-to-ship product only.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. To start a return, you can contact us at info@maedinnyc.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Should you decided to return your item, you will not be reimbursed the credit card processing fee from the order (typically 2.5-3.5%) which will be deducted from your refund. Please note that cancelled orders are subject to 3% cancellation fee.
As we create extremely limited amounts of product, we require all returns to be scanned by USPS within 72 hours of return approval.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Sale Items
All items that are on sale for 30% or more of the original price are NOT returnable.
We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
International Shipping We ship worldwide with DHL Express and/or USPS depending on the destination. However, please note, oftentimes when shipping internationally there are additional customs and other import fees associated with the purchase. While MAE'D IN NYC, LLC does all that it can to mitigate these fees to its customers, it is not responsible for the additional charges. The customer is solely responsible for these and any other fees.
Taxes and Duties The prices displayed on the website do not include taxes. Once you proceed to checkout, the sales tax will be calculated into the total. Please note that all orders designated for shipment to countries outside of U.S. may be subject to local taxes, customs, duties, and fees determined by the countries import fees. The recipient of the shipment is the importer of record in the destination country and is responsible for all import fees. We do not have any control over the charges or delays and cannot predict what they may be. If an order is refused and returned to MAE'D IN NYC, LLC, the shipping fees, unpaid tax, and duties will be deducted from the refund amount.
Notice MAE'D IN NYC, LLC is not responsible for delays in shipping, delivery, lost/stolen packages, or any damaged items due to force of nature or other uncontrollable events. If your package has been lost or damaged, please contact the carrier
